Get to Know BOOST Leadership Team Member LynnMarie Perez (she/her)
LynnMarie is the Expanded Learning Program Supervisor for Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District in Placentia, CA.
What is one thing that motivates you? Share your inspiration.
The love for children is a true motivation for me. As a parent with my children in the program, I truly want the best for all students attending our before/afterschool program.
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them!
We have a dachshund, her name is Pepperoni, and she is 15 years old.
What go-to song would you sing at Karaoke night?
There are so many songs that I love, it is hard to pick. I think I would choose Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.
Share any unique hobbies or talents. 
I am not sure about hobbies or talents, but I am a Life Time Member of Girl Scouts. I am a troop leader and also volunteer at Girl Scout summer camp.
What is your most treasured book to read? What are you currently reading?
I am not currently reading a book at this moment. I always enjoy a good trilogy with adventure or mystery.

One Day Can Change Everything
If you could be any person for a day, who would you be and why?
I don’t know who I would want to be for a day. If I got to be with someone for a day I would choose to be with my father or grandmother for one more day.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
Have confidence in yourself, you are smart and capable of anything you put your mind to. Enjoy life and cherish the people that are around you. Have fun!
If you really knew me you would know that…
If you knew me, you would know that I do not like talking about myself or promoting myself. I am someone who wants the best for all. I am goal-oriented and driven to do my best. I enjoy working and collaborating with others in the field. I will put myself last and always put others first. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

Nothing. I don’t eat breakfast.
