Dana is the Director of Field Marketing for Elevo in San Diego, CA.

What is one thing that motivates you? Share your inspiration.

One thing that really motivates me is the opportunity to positively impact and influence the younger generation. Positively impacting the youth is important to me as a mom because I believe that instilling positive values and fostering a supportive environment helps them become compassionate, responsible, and successful individuals.

Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them!

Yes! I have 2 dogs – Mac and Phoebe. Mac is a slow-moving English Bulldog who snorts and loves his food. Phoebe is a mix-breed who loves to “talk” and still acts like a puppy every time she goes on a walk.

What go-to song would you sing at Karaoke night?

Friends in Low Places by Garth Brooks is a classic karaoke choice! It’s a fun and popular song that always gets the crowd singing along.

Share any unique hobbies or talents.

It’s not really a hobby or talent, but I am a licensed wedding officiant. I’ve had the privilege of marrying some of my closest friends.

Favorite animal noise?

My favorite animal noise is the dolphin’s clicks and squeaks.

What is your most treasured book to read? A picture of Dana and her husband, Jacob.

My most-treasured book to read is “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee. I just finished reading “The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue” by V.E. Schwab.

Share an inspirational quote that resonates with you.

“The only way to do great work is to love what you do.” – Steve Jobs

If you could be any person for a day, who would you be and why?

If I could be any person for a day, I would choose to be an astronaut. The opportunity to experience space travel and see the Earth from a completely different perspective would be absolutely incredible.

What advice would you give your teenage self?

I’d encourage myself to be patient and not be afraid to make mistakes, because they often lead to valuable lessons. Most importantly, I’d remind myself to enjoy the journey and not be too hard on myself.

I am a giant nerd who loves murder mystery books and podcasts, watching all sports, and hanging out with my hubby and kiddos.

Today for breakfast I had…
Toast with Nutella and coffee (lots of coffee!).

From all of us here at TEAMBOOST, thank you, Dana, for sharing your leadership with us. You are a wonderful partner and a shining light for youth!

Love this Dana! I too am a registered wedding officiant, and also a fanatic of true crime & murder mysteries. Have you checked out Mr. Ballen or Bailey Sarian on YouTube? Great watches!

I also share some of the same values as a mom and as a Youth Leader. I feel one of the best gifts we can provide to the world is the gift of guiding our kids to grow into resilient, compassionate, strong, and smart adults. Thanks for sharing!
