Boys and Girls Clubs of America

Boys & Girls Clubs offer a place for youth to go after school or on weekends. Clubs reach out to kids you cannot afford, or may lack access to other community programs. The club provides services to promote and enhance the development of youth in a safe and fun environment.

Breathe for Change Classroom Guides

Students are likely experiencing strong, complex emotions. Simply shifting schedules can feel like a huge disruption in a child’s life. Breathe for Change has created free classroom guides such as Classroom Guide to Mindfulness & Presence, Classroom Guide to Cultivating Love & Gratitude, and Classroom Guide to Compassion & Courage to help parents and teachers support students as they acknowledge and move through difficult and confusing feelings.

Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame

Breathe, Think, Do with Sesame by Sesame Workshop. Available for iOS and Droid, and in both English and Spanish, this app offers Interactive cartoons which teach how to deal with frustration, separation anxiety, disappointment, impatience, and fear of the dark. It suggests using a “breathe, think, and do” strategy — breath slowly three times, think of a plan (three plans per problem are suggested), then do it.

Bright Hub Education

This website gives activities for character building in preschool aged children; it stresses the idea of character building early in a child’s life.

Bring Change to Mind

Bring Change 2 Mind is a national organization that works to end the stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness. The campaign distributes Public Education Materials based on the scientific findings in an effort to confront the public's misconceptions of mental health.

Bridging Refugee Youth and Children's Services provides multilingual school related resources for refugee families so that parents understand the American school system. Many of the resources are available in multiple languages including Chinese, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese, and Somali.

BIE creates, gathers, and shares high-quality PBL instructional practices and products. Some of the products consist of blog posts, scholarly articles, videos, and other resources such as curriculum guidelines and suggestions. Most resources on this website are free.

Builder’s Club

There are more than 1,500 Builders Clubs in middle schools around the world. No two are alike. Each club is an independent entity-designed for its members, by its members. They work together to improve their schools and their communities. Their service also increases the visibility and enhances the reputation of both the club and the school or organization they represent. The program is designed to fit member and volunteer interests.
