Student Information System Analyst – Upland

We aim to impact and revitalize communities through the development of education and other supportive partnerships. Job Purpose Under the direct supervision of the Student Information Systems Manager, the SIS Analyst primary functions are to coordinate, maintain and execute external compliance extracts and reports for the Student Information System. Provide support to the school sites. This position is full-time. Essential Duties and responsibilities, listed but not limited, below: • Maintain and facilitate SIS user provisioning for all stakeholders • Enter and update data via specialized school software program (Illuminate and CALPADS) • Ensure integrity of data in SIS by verifying/updating information regularly • Execute beginning of year and end of year process for SIS, including scheduling support for all schools • Respond to inquiries regarding entered data • Assist with federal and state reporting of data including exporting and uploading data to external systems such as CALPADS, CBEDS, District reports, and any ad-hoc requests for information • Assist in developing and conducting trainings of teachers and staff in SIS • Assist in developing help documents for SIS system • Provide customer support in person, via phone and helpdesk • Clerical duties as assigned by SIS Manager and IT Manager Experience, Education & Skills Qualifications • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite (emphasis on Excel) and Adobe Reader • Knowledge of Student Information Systems (Illuminate preferred) • Knowledge of CALPADS preferred but not required • Possess the skills to work collaboratively or independently as needed • Detail oriented • Two years’ minimum experience in data entry preferred but not required • Fast learning • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Problem solver and positive attitude • Ability to analyze spreadsheets and complex data for accuracy Student Information System Analyst DISCLAIMER: This job description indicates in general the nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of an incumbent.
