Dylan’s Wings of Change, is a foundation dedicated to the memory of Dylan Hockley, one of the first-grade victims in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in December 2012. We created Wingman, a program of experiential education activities that inspire empathy, courage and connection. We use fun, purposeful activities to foster deeper conversations, stronger teams and more connected communities. Wingman is effective for humans of all ages and works especially well as a peer-led social and emotional learning program both in and out of schools.
We have different levels and options within our programming, starting with adult-led at the entry, through to using one of our Wingman Trainers in to get your kids ready to lead their peers, all the way up to a Train the Trainer model, where your staff take an intensive program fully immersed in the Wingman pedagogy so that they are able to train kids and run the program within their school or organization.
