Dignity of Children – Building Emotionally Intelligent Leaders and Inclusive Learning Communities
Dignity of Children provides transformative professional development and youth programs designed to cultivate emotional intelligence, leadership, and 21st-century skills in both adults and students. Our programs help schools, organizations, and communities build inclusive cultures where emotional safety, accountability, and innovation thrive. We offer four integrated solutions that strengthen leadership, teaching, and learning from the inside out:
1. Director’s Lab 2.0 – Leadership Training for Child & Youth Development Professionals
A six-session hybrid leadership program that empowers directors and program leaders to move from emotional awareness to operational excellence. Participants learn to lead with purpose, strengthen organizational systems, and build teams rooted in accountability and emotional intelligence.
Objectives:
- Deepen self-awareness and emotional intelligence in leadership.
- Establish systems that promote consistency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Build trauma-informed supervision and staff development structures.
- Implement continuous evaluation and improvement frameworks.
2. Emotions in Action – Social Emotional Learning Curriculum (K-8)
A hands-on, project-based SEL curriculum that helps students build emotional regulation, executive function, and relationship skills while exploring real-world challenges. Students learn to manage stress, navigate peer relationships, and develop empathy and confidence through creative learning experiences.

3. Creating an Inclusive Learning Culture
This professional development series helps schools and organizations design equitable environments that value every learning. Leaders and educators learn to build structures that support executive function development, emotional safety, and collaboration – creating a culture where all children can succeed.

4. PBL Curriculum for Building 21st-Century Skills

Aligned with core SEL principles, this curriculum helps students connect learning to real-world issues while developing critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
