The student population of young Black children is one of the most vulnerable in California. This Town Hall examines academic and mental health outcomes of Black youth in California and explores the impact that structural racism and implicit bias have on the educations of young Black boys and girls. The session will be interactive, focusing on how the expanded learning community can better support Black youth.
