Youth that has social capital are better able to navigate through the myriad of barriers lead to social injustice. Youth programs can better connect youth to their community in meaningful ways to create environments where youth feel a sense of agency and are equipped with resources to combat social injustice. This session will highlight principles to make us intentional in our social justice youth development efforts.
