Traffickers who recruit youth into labor or sex trafficking know the best time to recruit is after school. This workshop will explore risk and resilience factors for children vulnerable to recruitment and exploitation by modern day traffickers. A peer to peer youth-led prevention model will be introduced. Finally, local advocacy strategies will provide a starting point for building safer communities.
