Asking some of my friends who are in direct service this question! In the meantime, what I have heard includes challenges with self-regulation, peer-to-peer relationship building, and concern over isolated play despite being in groups.

I asked a colleague who is in direct service with TK, and she said that some of the kiddos she is working with are having trouble with basic skills, including sitting on the carpet for collaborative learning time. Curious about your thoughts on basic skill development for our TKers and scaffolding for educators?
