Description

Description: Grants available to the PreK-12 community - including educators (teachers/district staff), licensed clinical health care and mental health professionals, and school counselors - for projects to enhance services. Funding is intended is to enhance the services these professionals provide while at the same time providing stimulus to their careers. The funder invites accomplished and motivated health care, mental health and education professionals to propose “the project of their dreams”, a program that they feel will have real and lasting impact for their patients, clients or students. The Picerne Family Foundation has created the Vision Initiatives Program to foster and support health care, mental health and teaching professionals who have both the vision to see ways to improve services in their fields and the initiative to carry them out. The Foundation’s role is to provide the funding to help fulfill that dream. The Foundation provides multi-year grants and organizational consultation in support of the program. Note: projects must fall outside of the scope and responsibility of normal institutional, county or district budgets; indirect costs are ineligible.
