This scholarship program is for students who have a debilitating condition(s) while continuing their education at a college institution. The condition can be any medically diagnosed impairment (physical or mental) that interferes with everyday activities and quality of life. The applicant will need to provide a physician’s statement of diagnosis for their impairment in addition to the other required documentation. Applicants who are pursuing a masters degree or higher are only required to be taking 9 credit hours or more for the upcoming fall semester. Scholarship Amount: $500 Application Deadline: August 1st Essay Topic: Describe an obstacle or hardship that arose due to your condition and how you were able to overcome it. Explain the impact it has had on your life and how it will influence you in the future.
