Description

As the philanthropic arm of CoreCivic, the mission of the CoreCivic Foundation is to support former offenders, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth. We accomplish this by providing time, resources, and service to nonprofit organizations working with these groups.

*Grant Process
Nonprofit organizations that have a well-defined sense of purpose, a demonstrated commitment to maximizing available resources and a history of delivering quality services are encouraged to apply for a grant through the CoreCivic Foundation. Organizations must meet the eligibility requirements and utilize the funds as outlined in the proposal/application.

*Grant Eligibility
Grantees can be deemed eligible to receive funding through the CoreCivic Foundation by meeting the following crieteria:

-Organization is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt charity recognized by the IRS
-Aligns with CoreCivic's Mission
-Supports offenders/former offenders, victims of crime and/or youth
-Must be willing and able to present measurable outcomes upon request
-Requested funds must be utilized as outlined in grant application/proposal and lawfully assist in carrying out the nonprofit's mission
-Knowledge of CoreCivic's mission and/or history of relationship through board service, volunteerism, etc. is preferred
-Preference will be given to organizations working within Tennessee
