Being part of the education community, it’s important to Mangahigh that they support all schools and students in any way they can. They are therefore offering full access to Mangahigh during school closures for any schools who are impacted by COVID-19 so learning doesn’t have to stop. This includes 100% of our mathematics content and full reporting dashboard for the teachers and a full account for each student so they can continue their learning from home on any device they have access to. With Mangahigh, teachers can assign and assess students’ performance online and exchange messages with their students in a virtual environment.
Created for kids in grades Pre-K through 8, Funbrain.com has been the leader in free educational games for kids since 1997. Funbrain offers hundreds of games, books, comics, and videos that develop skills in math, reading, problem-solving and literacy.
Students play a generalized version of connect four, gaining the chance to place a piece on the board by answering arithmetic questions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Parameters: time, difficulty level, types of questions. Arithmetic Four is one of the Interactivate assessment games.
The Resource Room is a place where mathematics educators can share resources. Teachers are encouraged to send notes, ideas, lesson plans or any other resource having to do with the teaching of mathematics. Resources are stored in a database that can be searched and browsed by educators and parents.
