Teacher, Summer at NCRC

Thank you for your interest in working as a SUMMER AT NCRC TEACHER! We are currently accepting teacher applications for our 2025 program. Upon receipt of materials, qualified candidates will be invited to set up an interview.

INTERESTED CANDIDATES:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • All candidates must be fully vaccinated.
  • All candidates must have experience working with young children.
  • Preference will be given to candidates available for the full 6-week summer program; candidates are required to work at least 4 weeks.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • ​​​Successful completion of a CDA, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Graduate Degree in ECE or Elementary Education.
  • Prior experience working for Summer at NCRC or other D.C.-area summer camps for young children.
  • Preference will be given to former NCRC Summer Camp Teachers and Counselors, as well as applicants who are currently enrolled in (or have been accepted to) an education-centered bachelor’s or master’s program.
