In an effort to build innovative and collaborative approaches, Project SCALES offers grants toward programs to encourage a re-imagination of the school food system. Proposals for grant funding to support projects should include: improvements to K-12 school food supply chains; barrier reduction; school nutrition team support; social responsibility as leverage; and identifying solutions and promising practices.
