Kristin Stayer has dedicated her career to education and community development. As vice president of engagement and educator experiences, she works to advance the growth and engagement of Mizzen by Mott’s practitioner community and leads efforts to build engagement through events and digital spaces, educator growth experiences, and creative communications. She loves championing leaders, launching strategic partnerships, and creating inspirational spaces for student learning and staff professional development.
Before joining Mott, Kristin was national manager of curriculum and content development for After-School All-Stars, where she worked with the leadership team to deliver comprehensive afterschool programs that empower and prepare students for 21st century learning and careers. She spent the prior decade launching and directing Park Place Community Center in Anderson, Indiana, partnering with the neighborhood to develop sustainable solutions to community needs in education, health and food access. She has managed the BOOST Breakfast Club blog.
Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Anderson University, a master’s in urban studies from Eastern University and a creative placemaking certificate from the New Hampshire Institute of Art. She and her husband are foster and adoptive parents to five children. As a family, they enjoy traveling, playing outdoors, and playing baseball games.
