What is one thing that motivates you? Share your inspiration.
I think I am motivated in different ways depending on what I’m working on. Sometimes I’m motivated by feeling like I am a part of a bigger purpose, sometimes I’m motivated by wanting to achieve mastery for myself, and sometimes I just don’t want to let someone else down.
Yes, we have a Goldendoodle named Cora who will be two years old next month. She’s my four-year-old daughter’s best friend, and watching that relationship is really sweet. Let’s just say Cora has more patience than I do!
What go-to song would you sing at Karaoke night?
Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey

What is your most treasured book to read? What are you currently reading?
One of my favorite books is “Pride & Prejudice” by Jane Austen. I’m currently trying to read “Think Again” by Adam Grant, but so far it has only made it to my nightstand.
Share an inspirational quote that resonates with you.
“Taking on a challenge is a lot like riding a horse, isn’t it? If you’re comfortable while you’re doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong.” Ted Lasso
If you could be any person for a day, who would you be and why?
If I could be anyone for a day, I’d choose Melinda French Gates. Her philanthropic efforts in women’s empowerment, global health, and education are truly inspiring. Witnessing firsthand how she strategically directs resources to areas of greatest need motivates me and others to champion important causes. To develop impactful, lasting solutions would be a remarkable experience.
What advice would you give your teenage self?
I would tell myself that it’s going to be okay and that you will figure it out. I would also tell my teenage self to not waste time on things that don’t really matter, and to travel more before having kids.
If you really knew me you would know that…
I LOVE Christmas time! I love decorating my house, I love all the local holiday festivities, and I watch far too many Hallmark movies during that time of year.
Today for breakfast I had…
Banana nut oatmeal.
From all of us here at TEAMBOOST, thank you, Andrea, for sharing your leadership with us. You are a wonderful partner and a shining light for youth!
