Activities That Inspire Impact- Showing Up for Students, Families, and Communities

Did you know that BOOST has been offering trainings, workshops, and learning communities online over the past year?

Many of our past sessions are available for rewatch on our YouTube page, with new videos added regularly. We currently have over 100 free educational videos for you to enjoy!

On June 15, 2020, a group of BOOSTers gathered on Zoom to learn about Activities That Inspire Impact- Showing Up for Students, Families, and Communities. This 90-minute training highlights programs providing support services in unique ways and making a big impact on their students, families, and communities.

Featured Speakers: Rafael Acosta, Regional Director; Freddy Gallegos, Regional Director; Carlos Garcia, Regional Director, Los Angeles Unified School District, Beyond The Bell, Los Angeles, CA

The session is archived on our YouTube page, and we hope you’ll take some time to watch the playback, apply your learnings, and share them with your team.

BOOST has also created several documents to support your learning and to help you be accountable, reflective, and gain perspective in your learning process. Give yourself a metacognitive boost and create an action plan to apply your learning experience implementation. We have a PD Tracker designed specifically to complement our YouTube videos, as well as a comprehensive BOOST Professional Development Plan that allows you to intentionally plan and track your participation in professional trainings that support your knowledge, skills, and career goals while meeting the needs of your organization.
