Company Bio

William “Bill” Albert is the CEO and Founder of STEMfinity, a global  STEM education resource provider. For over 17 years Bill has promoted the  importance of the integration of authentic, hands-on, STEM curriculum and methodology in classroom, afterschool, and makerspace programs. By promoting this type of teaching and learning, Bill believes future generations will be better equipped to make enormous strides in STEM fields, such as Robotics, 3D printing, Space Exploration, and Drone Technology.

His involvement with thousands of schools and afterschool programs worldwide, such as 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, Military Youth Programs, and Communities in Schools, has inspired thousands of students to pursue and excel in STEM careers.

Bill created STEMfinity to make STEM accessible and fun for students from all walks of life. That meant not only getting STEM resources into the hands of students and educators but also designing an easy Four-Step process for effectively implementing the resources into classrooms, afterschool programs, makerspaces and homeschool settings.

STEMfinity’s “Four Steps to STEM” include:

  1. Offering Free STEM Resources online to any child or educator wanting to explore or expand their knowledge in STEM topics.
  2. STEMfinity provides Free Grant Writing Assistance to schools and non-profits nationwide from small private foundations to large NSF Grants.
  3. STEMfinity has hand-picked and vetted the top STEM Resources for students in Pre-K to college. We make STEM accessible through our One-Stop-STEM-Shop featuring Robotics, Drones, 3D Printers, and beyond!
  4. STEM Professional Development is key to making sure teachers are properly trained on how to best implement hands-on resources into their classroom/program.

Bill was recently selected as one of the Most Influential in STEM by the National Afterschool Association and was recognized in the Spring 2015 issue of AfterSchool Today.  When asked,“Why STEM?” Bill stated, “STEM Education is critical  to  the  United  States’  future,  its relevance to the economy, and the future of our children.”

When Bill is not traveling around the world to promote  STEM  education,  he  resides  in  Meridian, Idaho with his wife, Nikki, and four children,  Grace  (16),  Kaden  (14),  Averi  (7),  and Blayze (2).
