Dwayne, originally hailing from Florida, is the eldest of five children from a single-parent household, which has significantly contributed to his resilience and sense of responsibility. His life experiences have fueled his passion for coaching and mentoring.

As a recognized thought leader and motivational coach, Dwayne possesses a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, both obtained from Full Sail University. He also holds the position of President Emeritus of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars at the same institution. Currently, Dwayne is pursuing a PhD in Advanced Human Behavior.

For over 15 years, Dwayne has been a fervent advocate for afterschool programming. Dwayne was honored with the Afterschool Champion Outstanding Quality Award in 2023 and has served as an afterschool ambassador in Pennsylvania, where he successfully advocated for an $11.5 million grant to support afterschool initiatives. He is the founding director of IGNITE Before & Afterschool Enrichment at Belmont Charter High School. Through this program, Dwayne has collaborated with teachers, community partners, and local and state legislators to establish one of Pennsylvania’s most effective afterschool programs.

Currently, Dwayne serves as the Director of Culture at Belmont Charter High School. His mission is to equip individuals with essential life skills and coping strategies, aiming to create a meaningful impact. He is dedicated to empowering students and is a seasoned public speaker who provides professional development courses for various organizations.

In 2020, he founded “A Human. Being!”—a company dedicated to coaching for self-improvement and personal development.
