In the past four years, we have implemented and collected data from Y-WE Create, a week-long residential creative design camp for diverse young women. Y-WE Create uses the Creative Community Model to facilitate artistic expression, allowing young women to decide the role they will play in forming their own identity. We will share details on program implementation, relationships between participants in an intergenerational mentorship model, and youth perspectives of successes and challenges.
