RCSD’s THRIVE program is an adaptation of a pilot program that ran from December 2019 to November of 2023 in Redwood City, CA that worked to increase the identification of students and their households that were experiencing housing insecurity/homelessness and provide community-centered case management to identified and referred households; the program deepens the community school model and leverages key partnerships to disrupt housing insecurity and homelessness in the Redwood City community. The presentation will highlight the importance of intentional collaboration between stakeholders to achieve a successful warm collaboration between schools, districts, and community-based organizations that provides essential linkages to community resources for families and youth.
