Unique program cultures can be created by delivering simple things in extraordinary ways. Cool Spins on a Hot Summer Culture is an interactive workshop that will provide practical strategies for creating a unique experience for your youth. In this workshop, participants will experience how summer themes, traditions, and spirit connect with learning goals to make programs relevant and interesting. Participants will leave with tools and resources as well as having practiced putting together some of the core elements that make summer learning feel like extraordinary experience for youth “campers.”Participants will be able to describe the key elements that create a unique program culture and apply some key elements of a unique program culture to construct a model program experience for students.
