Participants will learn about the Community of Practice (CoP) model for strengthening local ecosystems of environmental-focused expanded learning programs. Expanded learning providers from the CoP will share the unique partnerships and projects they designed and piloted together and will lead participants through a hands-on activity making Yucca (‘aakuull) cordage, which is a traditional Kumeyaay practice that can foster deep connection with the natural world.
