Explore successful practices in working with youth to support their healthy eating, in a culturally responsive manner where they are nourished to flourish. We’ll also address how to strengthen overall healthier environments in OST and school settings so that the healthy choice becomes the easy choice for staff and students alike. We’ll engage and discuss together the many interconnected elements of good health – physical, mental, emotional, social and societal – grounded in our own personal and lived experiences of wellness, how it’s reinforced through research and science, and how we can similarly support youth to understand and build agency around what makes them feel healthy and well.
