Description

The Rite Aid Foundation is committed to improving the health and well-being of children in our communities. To further advance our efforts and continue investing in the communities we serve, The Rite Aid Foundation is pleased to announce the second cycle of the KidCents Regional Grant program.

The Rite Aid Foundation established the KidCents Regional Grants program to support nonprofit organizations that serve children and youth grades K-12 and improve the quality of life in Rite Aid communities. The grants focus on three of KidCents’ primary focus areas for improving the health and well-being of children:

-Healthy Eating
-Active Living
-Education

KidCents Regional Grants are available in select counties and states for out-of-school time programs that improve nutrition, physical fitness or academic success. Programs must include an educational component (e.g. programs that deliver nutritious food independent of a nutrition education component do not qualify). Priority will be given to those programs that deliver quality out-of-school services to children and youth in high-need families.
