The Power of Youth Challenge: Serve This Summer is a leadership and service opportunity provided to youth age 13-19 during summer 2021.

Through this challenge, America’s Promise puts funds directly in the hands of young people who want to make a difference in their communities. To apply for a $300 mini-grant, young people should identify a need in their communities and share an idea for a service project to address it. In addition to building their own leadership, service, and career skills, grant winners will make a meaningful impact in their communities.
