Description

The National Science Foundation funds programs that research and develop interdisciplinary approaches to STEM education in preK-12 education, both in formal and informal settings. Of particular interest are programs that prepare young people for post-secondary STEM experiences. Grants may also support teacher development and training. Recent awards, for example, have gone to projects that integrate science and arts curricula and another that develops computer science classes in historically underserved schools.
