Do you know a K-12 American history teacher who has inspired students? If so, nominations are now open for the National History Teacher of the Year Award. The award, given by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, recognizes outstanding U.S. history teachers. Any full-time K-12 history educator is eligible for nomination. One winner receives a $10,000 prize; $1,000 prizes are available for state winners.
